To elope means to run away with your loved one and get married.
What is especially inspiring to me as a wedding planner is the one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to design, what I consider, the most special day in the lives of two people. To see the wonderfully happy smiles on my client's faces as they enjoy their special day is simply fulfilling to me. It is an honor for me to craft a wedding according to my clients’ expectations and witness as they embark on their journey together. For me, Elope in Switzerland embodies emotions, authenticity, individuality, and primarily love. Every person is a unique individual, each with their own distinctive wishes, and to me none of these are too vast or too wild to carry out.

I am a freelance writer and designer who loves to capture thoughts and experiences into words. When asked to write for Elope in Switzerland I was thrilled and a little curious, since the scope of the topic lies somewhat beyond my expertise. However, as a bride-to-be my interest was sparked by the opportunity to write for a nature-loving, authenticity-abiding, and ever-so-loving company. With our blog we, and in particular I, intend to enter into a conversation with other brides about what makes us tick during this new phase in our lives, which things make us (a tiny bit) nervous, and how can we learn from each other's knowledge and experiences.

Even though I was born and raised in the city of Zurich, I call myself a child of the mountain. Whenever I get the chance, I escape into the marvelous world of the Swiss mountains and listen to nature. I understand its language and am therefore able to transform your elopement into a remarkable experience. Elope in Switzerland is a project that is dear to my heart, as it does not only represent a significant day, but also allows couples to be as creative and free in their choices as possible. No one holds you back. For one day, you’re able to escape every responsibility and stress-driven decision and live in the moment. And that’s why I’m here, to make this moment as beautiful, fun and memorable as possible.
